The real body does not have limits, it is ambiguous, and it is in constant conflict.
For us to find this real body, we have to destabilize our body coherent to reality
and open our bodies up to the universe of possibilities of being in this world,
of wishing, of feeling pleasure, and of becoming another"
– Alexandra/Eric

We invite you to look beyond sex, gender, and sexuality, into the realm of the politics of simply being human; human without having to put ascriptions (negative, classist, racist, sexist, homophobic, ethnocentric) on our bodies.

The following is a poem originally written in Spanish
by Deysi Vela, member of our Collective (2009):

PAST POWER
Now you want to be a woman for me
as soon as I find your lips
they distil an incessant red
they demand my breasts...

I look at you
and you snatch me up with the gentleness of your touch
you hide behind the power
of the transparency of your dress
and my body becomes confused
it feels, it wishes for another way
and also it wishes as always,
beyond all reason, for you.
you trap me in your arms.
you lift me up.
you take me prisoner.

Now the forces are stabilized
The two of us reflecting each other's desire
and you understand my body as if it were yours
as if you wished you were outside of yours
while the power is there looking
wanting to penetrate the fears

(Translated by our friend of the Collective Joshua Faden, 2010)
